What boiling can —and cannot— solve
Boiling is useful against many microorganisms. However, elements such as lead, arsenic, cadmium or mercury do not simply disappear when water is boiled. Sampling and laboratory analysis are required to determine their presence.
A decision based on parameters
The right treatment depends on the contaminant, its concentration, the intended use and applicable standards. A Water Security solution must begin with measurement and documentation, not assumptions based on appearance.
- Identify the relevant parameters for the source.
- Use recognised laboratories and methods.
